“Light of Heart” Field Hospital is set up by private-sector collaboration with 450 beds for “green” and “yellow” patients. The field hospital was born from the idea that we all need to help each other, bringing light to spark hope for Thailand in this crisis. The name “Light of Heart” reflects the intention of the 7 founding organizations to help bring together Thais in all sectors to overcome our challenges. The light comes from the heart of the giver and is hope in the heart of those in need.
The 7 founding organizations – Principal Healthcare hospitals, MQDC, EEC Engineering Network, T&B Media Global, Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation, Ahriyavraromp Foundation, Buddharaksa Foundation – have now welcomed partners and supporters from over 30 organizations.
SCG Foundation (SCG), for example, has provided 600 cardboard beds and other construction equipment. CP and MK are providing food for patients and medical personnel over the course of 4 months. TRUE has arranged WiFi for patients during their stay. Many other organizations are helping bring light from the heart.”
“Light of Heart” Field Hospital is scheduled to accept patients who register and are selected through its system from 9 August.
