Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor to RISC, said the center supported AGrowth to help make cities more sustainable.
"Indoor agriculture, particularly urban agriculture, is crucial to sustainable cities," he said.
"We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate with startups in testing and potentially implement their urban farming solutions in Thailand."
AGrowth aims to bring "the world's best agtech startups" to Thailand. The program will give startups 12 weeks of support. NIA and RISC will provide mentoring along with Siam Kubota, another partner in the initiative, and Nest Group, the financial company that organized the program.
RISC is a research hub set up by the developer MQDC to support innovation for well-being and sustainability in the built environment.
RISC welcomes visitors to its headquarters in central Bangkok, where it curates publicly accessible resources including Thailand's largest eco-materials library.
