The Forestias has designed its landscape lighting to reduce light pollution and avoid disturbing ecosystems at night.
Lampposts in the north of the project are now 100% complete. The lights are 20-25 meters apart. They are 4 meters tall for pedestrian walkways and 6 meters high for roads. Their LED lamps have a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin for light, warm tones that suit our eyes. Their broad illumination will ensure full coverage, keeping users safe under Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building criteria.
Lampposts will also light the forest paths. Each pole will carry CCTV as well as 4-6 lamps to clearly light up the walkway and nearby trees. Each lamp will be angled to avoid disturbing animals at night while ensuring the safety of users. Forest lighting is currently 20% complete.
